ElevateMeD Announces Explosion of Dream Weekend September 23- 24, 2022; featuring Scholars Summit and Signature Fundraiser

Scottsdale, Arizona- In its third year, Scottsdale-based nonprofit ElevateMeD is honored to invite its scholarship recipients, supporters, and the public to the Explosion of A Dream weekend, this September 23 and 24, 2022. The weekend features its annual Scholars Summit and signature fundraising event Explosion of a Dream, taking place on the evening of Saturday, September 24, 2022, at The Scott Resort & Spa (4925 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251). The annual celebratory event opens up at 7 pm PDT /10 pm EDT with both virtual and in-person ticket options for attendees, available at dream.elevatemed.org through September 16, 2022.
This year, more than 25 of the program’s scholarship recipients from medical schools across the country will attend the second annual Scholars Summit. This weekend of workshops is designed to provide diverse medical student leaders with workshops tailored toward their professional development as an enhancement to the programming received throughout the academic year. The ElevateMeD Scholars will have the opportunity to work with nationally known coaches and leaders and engage in peer-to-peer networking alongside program mentors. This year’s Scholars Summit is sponsored by the #1 ranked healthcare system Mayo Clinic.
The Explosion of a Dream 2022 is a celebration of the future of medicine as the organization raises funds for the ElevateMeD Scholars Program, a solution that awards students annually with a tuition-based $10,000 scholarship, mentorship, and support. Guests of the event will have the unique opportunity to see the impact of the program by meeting the Scholars, and participating in the raffle and live and silent auctions while enjoying dinner and live entertainment. Hosted by board member Dr. Bert Vargas, this year’s program will feature the following participants:
