Meet Kenneth Clark

ElevateMeD Scholar 2024-25

Kenneth Clark shares why he chose a career in medicine, his aims in impacting the future of OB/GYN care, and being inspired by ElevateMeD supporters.

  • Hometown: Greensburg, Pennsylvania

  • Medical Education: The Ohio State University College of Medicine

  • Undergraduate Education: Washington & Jefferson College in Biochemistry

  • Current Career Plan: Encompass a multifaceted journey within the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology, driven by a passion for excellence and patient care. I aspire to attend a residency program in OBGYN, where I can immerse myself in a dynamic learning environment and gain comprehensive clinical experience. Following residency, I aim to pursue a fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine, specializing in high-risk obstetrics and fetal diagnosis and therapy. My long-term vision includes practicing at an academic institution, where I can contribute to the advancement of evidence-based medicine and equity through clinical practice, research, and teaching. I am deeply committed to academic leadership, mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals, and fostering a culture of lifelong learning and excellence in patient care.

  • Specialty Interest: OB/GYN

  • I am most proud of the opportunity I have to take care of patients from all different backgrounds and walks of life. The field of medicine is equally as humbling as it is inspiring, and I am grateful for patients that make persistence throughout the journey worth it.

  • You might be surprised to know that I love music, theater, and performance! I considered a career in entertainment and even once, played Willy Wonka in a musical.
