I am most proud of my service to the community during the pandemic.
You might be surprised to know that I love the outdoors. (camping, hiking, bicycling etc.)
ElevateMeD is… an intervention to address the issue of a lack of diversity in medicine. It provides opportunities to students from diverse backgrounds to serve as the next leaders in the field of medicine by breaking down financial barriers and empowering students.

I chose to pursue a career in anesthesiology because I enjoy moment-to-moment decision making as well as the practical application of physiology and pharmacology. 3% of anesthesiologists are reported to identify as Black/African-American. Of those 3%, the majority are women.
