  • Hometown: Kenya but I consider San Antonio, Texas my second home.

  • Medical Education: UT Southwestern Medical School

  • Undergraduate Education: University of Texas at Austin. I got into pharmacy school before finishing undergrad. I received my pharmacy degree from UT Austin.

  • Current Career Plan: Become an radiologist with a specialization in women's health

  • Specialty Interest: Medical Specialty

  • I am most proud of my innate desire to get to know people I encounter on a deeper level. I have always been shy but hated feeling lonely. So I started pushing myself to start conversations. It always starts with my signature smile and this hasn't let me down yet.

  • You might be surprised to know that I am married with three school-age children.

  • ElevateMeD is… an amazing opportunity for any future physician-in-training. I count myself fortunate to have an opportunity to be raised into a future physician leader through this community of those who have gone before me. I am touched by the story behind ElevateMeD (a very appropriate name I might add). Being a part of this community motivates me to work even harder so I can be in a position to give back to future physicians-in-training in my community when my turn comes.
