Nonprofit health equity leader ElevateMeD awarded with prestigious 2024 NBA Foundation grant
SCOTTSDALE, AZ - ElevateMeD is proud to announce a new grant-funded partnership with the prestigious NBA Foundation for 2024. ElevateMeD has been selected as one of 46 recipients to receive a grant from the NBA Foundation. The collaboration with the NBA Foundation will propel ElevateMeD's Scholars Program, fostering empowerment of youth from underrepresented backgrounds through comprehensive personal and professional leadership development training.
The mission of the NBA Foundation is to drive economic opportunity in the Black community through employment and career development by funding programs that generate successful transitions from school to meaningful employment for Black youth. The foundation's commitment to social change amplifies the objectives of ElevateMeD to prioritize diversity among the physician workforce, close the gap of financial inequity in medical education, and empower the next generation of physician leaders.
