Wells Davis is a seasoned 20+-year veteran of brand strategy and advertising. He has held senior-level positions at some of the world’s largest advertising agencies, including McCann, Young & Rubicon, TBWA Chiat/Day, Taxi Advertising, Leo Burnett Worldwide, and David & Goliath.
In his current role as Chief Strategy Officer at The Davis Conspiracy, Wells leads a team of strategists and creatives in developing and executing brand and content strategies for a wide range of clients, including Apple, Kia, Coca Cola, Lexus, Toyota, Nissan, Infiniti, BMW, Nike, The Toronto Raptors, Samsung, Sony, Xbox, Microsoft, P&G, Xerox, Adidas, Kellogg’s, McDonald’s, Jack in The Box, and Burger King. He has also worked with a number of non-profit organizations, including UNICEF, White Ribbon Campaign, and the UN.
Wells is a proven winner. He has led his team to win over 85 new business pitches, with a win rate of over 50%. He has also been instrumental in securing over $550 million in new business for his clients.
In addition to his work in advertising, Wells is also a passionate advocate for social justice. He has devoted 25 years to volunteering as a coach for underprivileged black kids at the most elite level of AAU basketball. He has helped hundreds of kids get college scholarships, and dozens have gone on to play in the NBA and other professional leagues.
When he is not working or coaching, Wells enjoys spinning the wheels of steel as a DJ and collecting art from up-and-coming black artists.
