About

The True Inspiration Awards™ program was created in 2015 to honor the legacy of Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy. Since then, more than $7.1 million has been granted to nonprofits doing amazing things in their communities. This year, Chick-fil-A committed to award $5 million in True Inspiration Awards grants to qualifying nonprofits that are either Black-led or serving primarily Black communities or other communities of color.

Four organizations in our region will be selected for a gift ranging from $50,000-$150,000. Chick-fil-A, Inc. will publicly announce all 2021 True Inspiration Awards recipients in January 2021.
