In just five years we’ve…
partnered with 27 medical schools across the U.S.
received over 250 nominations to the ElevateMeD Scholars program
supported over 150 Black, Latinx, and Native medical students with access to resources through our Scholars Portal
awarded 94 tuition-based scholarships reducing the debt burden for ElevateMeD Scholars
empowered 70 future physicians with the skills necessary to be change agents in medicine
But our work is not done yet. We’re just getting started.
This year, help us raise more friends!
Our goal this year is to continue to raise awareness. With only 13% of physicians identifying as Black/African American, Native American, Alaska Native, or Latinx, ElevateMeD aims to increase physician workforce diversity and improve cultural competence among physicians to reduce health disparities.
Our Pledge
ElevateMeD pledges to continue to bolster physician workforce diversity by supporting even more diverse future physician leaders and we need your help.
