Britany J. M. McElroy

Britany J. M. McElroy is the Operations Administrator for the Office of Access Management at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona and holds the academic rank of Instructor in the Mayo College of Medicine and Science. Her challenging role as a leader in the Office of Access Management allows her to fulfill her professional mission to provide quality care and create a positive experience for all patients. She also serves as the Site Director for the Administrative Fellowship Program and the Site Liaison for the Mayo Clinic Response to Racism.
Britany honed her healthcare administration knowledge as an Administrative Fellow with the Mayo Clinic. She worked on special projects at several Mayo campuses in various departments during her fellowship. Her experiences as a fellow prepared her for success throughout her career. She served as a fellow for two years prior to accepting a position as an Operations Manager for the Department of Neurology in Arizona. As the manager for the Department of Neurology, she supported a team of dedicated healthcare professionals in a challenging environment as they provide world-class care.
Britany earned a Master of Healthcare Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Florida.
Her professional memberships include the American College of Healthcare Executives, the National Association of Health Services Executives, and she serves on the leadership committee for the Coalition of Blacks Against Breast Cancer which works to raise breast cancer awareness among African Americans and provide support to breast cancer survivors. She is also Six Sigma Black Belt Certified.
Britany is co-developer and instructor for the Six Sigma Green Belt course at Arizona State University in the College of Health Solutions. She enjoys educating high school students about personal finance and provides seminars about budgeting and debt management. She serves as a mentor to aspiring healthcare professionals and passionately seeks to advance the delivery of care to be accessible for all.
